What is it that we do?
We, the team behind Tradervoice believe in narrative trading. We have a vision to be the one tool that all traders and investors cannot make a trading decision without having consulted. We want to put the knowledge that lies in the worldwide financial news into the hands of all traders and investors, letting not only the banks and investment funds benefit from this unvaluable source. Our algorithm is fresh out of the newest research studies from one the the top 10 global universities, Aarhus University in Denmark.
We provide an up until now never before seen algorithm that quantifies worldwide financial news articles, providing our users with the ability to see how popular/widespread topics of their interest have been and is in the worldwide financial news. We do this by visualizing the “popularity over time” of the user generated topic in a line chart. If the line goes up, more is written about the topic in the worldwide financial news, and down, than less is written. In addition to the popularity line, our users can also switch to see “sentiment over time” of the searched topic.
On top of these features we give the option to select financial assets like stocks, crypto currencies, fiat currencies, commodities and indices to have the historical prices and present price of the selected asset displayed in the chart alongside the topic line.
What value does this provide?
When having the popularity or sentiment line presented in the chart alongside with the price line of an asset, our users can look for investment trends.
Lets look at an example!
Below chart shows popularity over time of the topic “Banking crisis”. If you drag the chart to the right so you see March 2023 and zoom in, you will see a big surge in the popularity of “Banking crisis” in the worldwide financial news. We are currently not ready to display the historical assets prices in our blog post widgets, but if you go to this link you will se the same chart as below and then if you select BTCUSD (Bitcoin) from the right upper search bar and zoom in on March 2023, you will see the spike in the price of BTCUSD right after the spike in the popularity of “Banking crisis”. So, maybe next time “Banking crisis” increases in the worldwide news, one might consider buying Bitcoin instantly.
Understanding the chart:
The below “Banking crisis” line is based on advanced text analysis of more than 5 million financial news articles from more than 200 of the biggest financial news platforms worldwide. The circles (clusters) contains actual news articles links, which are the most representative articles in relation to your search, on the exact time they are located on the line. Green = positive tone in content of the article, red = negative tone in content of the article. Zoom in on a cluster to “open” it. The Popularity score goes from 0 – 1. The Sentiment score goes from -1 to 1. If the line is above zero, but decreasing it means it is still a positive sentiment, but going less positive. If the line crosses below zero, sentiment turns into being negative. Go to Tradervoice.io to be able to add financial assets prices enabling you to compare the topic line with different assets to look for investment trends.
The search options are endless. It is up to our users to define the topics.
Just to give a few examples:
Upcoming features
Summaries:
Our users will be able to use a slider to define a time period of which they will be given a short summary of what has happened on the topic they have searched. This will save our users enormous amounts of time not having to go to all the news sites out there reading page after page to try and define what is going on with the topics of their interest.
Hypothesis:
Based on our vast collection of news data, the hypothesis tool suggest one or several hypothesis of why the topic of a user search might be related to an asset.
News stream:
In our news stream our AI, experts and editors tie tickers to narratives to give investors insight into possible relations.
Technical Analysis:
- SMA (Simple Moving Average)
- WMA (Weighted Moving Average)
- RSI (Relative Strength Index)
- MACD (Moving Average Convergence Divergence)
- Bollinger Bands
- Volume (used in relation to specific indicators or chart patterns)
- And more
Prediction:
Our prediction tool bases its results on the topic search the user makes including the selected financial asset the user have chosen. The result tells what is expected to happen to the price of the selected asset over the next 24 hours. Our users will be presented with one of the two following when using the prediction feature:
– Expected to increase the next 24 hours
– Expected to decrease the next 24 hours
The expectation is calculated by our advanced machine learning algorithm. The user will also receive a measure showing the algorithm’s historical performance on the searched topic and selected asset. The user has the option to include several topics in the calculations made by the algorithm, to try and finetune the results.
